Maybe it't true that we are all grass, fed together by the sun and rain, side by side for the time being, connected underground as we reach for the sky. This substantial and eclectic collection of paintings, large ones and small ones, on a variety of surfaces, celebrates a sense of meeting -- of earth and sky, of color and color, of past and present.
About Liz
I grew up in Denver, Colorado: my love of open space might come from that experience, with sky and land meeting in so many ways and with so many different aesthetic and emotional effects. Since 2007 I've been living here in the Philadelphia area, basking in trees and rivers, history and people. From 2016-2019, my studio was in a small office building above a busy intersection in Wyncote. Now I work in the Norristown Arts Building, a community of artists in a converted factory near the Schuylkill River.
