Ben Windle

Naturalist and Wildlife Photographer

Ben Windle has been a lot of things in his lifetime. A native of the Frankford neighborhood of Philadelphia, a former Muay Thai fighter, an EMT with the Philadelphia Fire Department, a photographer, an amateur naturalist (working on his “master naturalist” designation), a lover of nature and wild spaces, and more important than anything else a father, a husband, a son, an uncle, and a brother.

Ben is now also accidentally an artist. Ben first started by filling the time between dropping his daughter off at daycare and picking her up with bird walks. He was not consciously looking for anything besides birds, but unexpectedly found himself healing holes in his heart left by loss with a joyful appreciation of nature and a creative spark he had not felt since childhood.

Through photography Ben wants to elicit the same sense of awe in the viewer that he experienced first hand. His spirit shines through his work and inspires a love of nature and wild spaces in others.

Troy Bynum

Originally from Philadelphia, PA, Troy Bynum is an enthusiastic birder and passionate wildlife photographer who’s on a personal mission to celebrate the inherent magnificence of nature through his shutter clicks.

Troy's artistic vision is an exploration of the boundless beauty that permeates the great outdoors—his canvas. His work is an ode to the awe-inspiring array of colors, the dance of intricate patterns, and the tactile richness that graces every corner of the natural tapestry.

Troy recently traveled to the biodiverse region of Ecuador and each photograph on display today encapsulates not only the visual splendor but also the profound connection Troy shares with the subjects of his lens.

Embracing his role as a steward of nature's wonders, Troy founded TB Wildlife Photography LLC in 2023. More than merely just a showcase for his artistic endeavors, the company has become a platform for Troy to accentuate his expertise and infectious enthusiasm for wildlife. Troy leads bird walks, orchestrates private tours, and imparts the secrets of his craft through photography workshops. In doing so, Troy not only captures the essence of the wild but also invites others to join him on a journey of discovery and appreciation. Through his art, Troy goes beyond the obvious, highlighting the often-overlooked beauty that resides in the wild, waiting to be noticed.
