About the Artists

Lauren Fiasconaro is a visual artist who has been working in the medium of photography for over 15 years. Her work is often driven by concerns with climate change and environmental degradation. She creates cyanotypes on her rooftop in Philadelphia, PA using plant matter and negatives.

Lauren graduated from Pratt Institute with a BFA in Photography and minors in Sustainable Studies and Art History, and has since exhibited domestically as well as online.

Jules Victor is a greater Philadelphia artist and photographer. He is a graduate of Drexel University's Photography program in 2011, and has been photographing professionally since 2007. He is currently a member of The Halide Project, where he produces the majority of his work using traditional 19th and 20th century techniques. These mainly consist of Palladium and Silver Gelatin printing. Jules is currently working on his first major photo book publication which he plans to release in 2024. He currently lives with his wife, daughter and two dogs in Havertown, Pennsylvania.

Marita McVeigh is a local nature inspired artist. She enjoys painting in different mediums: oil paint, watercolor, ink, printmaking and pastels. She has exhibited in many local art shows, winning a few awards. She returned to school in her adult years and earned an Associate’s Of Fine Art in 2012, her emphasis was painting and printmaking. She says, "Being an artist enriches my life and I am enjoying the journey."
